Vision Care USA
Established in 2002, Vision Care is an international relief organization dedicated to eliminating reversible causes of blindness through direct patient care, surgical teaching and supporting sustainable eye care systems working in 39 countries across Africa, Asia and Central and South America. In addition to our short-term Vision Eye Camps, which provide charitable sight-restoring surgeries in underserved regions around the world, one of our core missions is to lead phacoemulsification teaching courses (PTC) for ophthalmologists, and training programs for ophthalmic nurses and technicians with the aim to achieve comprehensive and sustainable eye care in the long-term. With headquarters in the US and Korea, and 13 overseas branches, over the years Vision Care has developed a network of partners around the world who share our mission to bring sight to the most underserved regardless of race, ethnicity, creed, gender or religion.
